US taking India's help to solve Ukraine crisis
The US has said that it is taking the help of other quad
countries including India and working closely with them in the Ukraine matter.
US Deputy Press Secretary K. Jean-Pierre said that the Quad leaders have
discussed that Russia's aggression is a threat not only to Ukraine but to the
entire international rules-based system.
On Tuesday, White House Deputy Press Secretary K.
Jean-Pierre said that Foreign Minister Antony Blinken had a meeting with the
Quad countries in the past.
The meeting discussed Russia's challenges to the international
order and our readiness to support European allies. On the sanctions imposed on
Russia on Ukraine, he said, "We are not going into detail." We are
clear about our discussions. We are working closely with many important partner
partners including India.
Pierre said that we will continue to have a strategic
partnership on other issues as well, including the issue of a free and free
Indo-Pacific Sea. Pierre described India as the power of the Quad countries and
an engine of regional development in South Asia and the Indian Ocean region.
